Hailey resident Kim Marie Peterson, 57, pled guilty and was convicted of misdemeanor disturbing-the-peace charges Tuesday in 5th District Court in Hailey. She was originally charged with felony malicious injury to property after a domestic dispute in May in which she drove her 2004 Ford F-250 through her garage door, over her husband’s 1996 Harley Davidson Road King, through the rear garage wall and... Stelljes’ report indicated the damage done to the motorcycle and garage was estimated to exceed $1,000 and he then arrested Peterson on an allegation of felony malicious injury to property. Peterson’s attorney, Brian Elkins, requested in court Tuesday that the felony charge be reduced to a misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace due to Peterson’s clean record and her husband’s reluctance to pursue restitution for damages to the... Frisco friend Bill Hyde went ahead to Holly Heights to make sure they were ready to receive Al, who was very excited to be back home in Denver and had Bill take him out for a midnight hamburger the very first night. Al is settling in and the team has been working hard to get all the loose ends tied up, such as:. • getting a Colorado ID was quick (kudos to DMV for letting folks in wheelchairs go to the head of the line). • getting his Medicaid application completed with all the various required tasks was a much longer effort. Bill gave a special thanks to Patricia Cook at the Colorado Gerontological Society for her vast knowledge and experience in the Medicaid application process and many other areas. “Not to be forgotten are the wonderful people who donated money to the team to help make this possible and the fantastic Return Al team members who were so generous with their time,” he adds. Delco man sentenced to time served to 6 months for crash that killed Dante ... - Main Line

Jonathan I. Vanderhorst, 46, of the 300 block of Windermere Avenue, had been found not guilty of homicide by vehicle while DUI, aggravated assault while DUI, and DUI rendering him incapable of operating a motor vehicle following a jury trial... Vanderhorst was negotiating a left-hand turn in his 1996 Ford Taurus into the McDonald’s on the 500 block Baltimore Pike in Clifton Heights at about 9:30 p. m. when he was struck by a Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by Mark Greenslade. Robison was treated at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for injuries including broken bones in his leg, foot and shoulders, as well as a lung injury. Jurors heard from Greenslade, who claimed Vanderhorst had turned in front of him a split second before the collision. Vanderhorst testified that Greenslade was drifting from the curbside lane toward his car prior to the crash and that he attempted to turn left at speed to avoid a collision. Blood drawn from Vanderhorst at 11:15 p. m. that night showed he had active THC and the prescription anti-anxiety drug Clonazepam in his bloodstream. Vanderhorst suffers from a host of mental disorders and had been prescribed Clonazepam for about 10 years. Source: www.mainlinemedianews.com
